Hammam Mouassine
About
A no-frills neighborhood hammam used primarily by locals. This is the real Moroccan hammam experience—basic, steamy, and incredibly cheap. Not for the faint-hearted but unforgettable.

This is the real deal. No fancy robes, no spa music—just steam, scrub, and locals. One of my most memorable Marrakech experiences.

Authentic but rough around the edges. The scrub was vigorous to say the least. Bring everything you need because they have almost nothing.

If you want the tourist hammam, go elsewhere. If you want to see how Moroccans actually do it, come here. Unforgettable. Tip generously.
Tips for Visiting
- Bring your own soap, shampoo, and a plastic mat to sit on
- There are no signs in English—look for the steam coming out the door
- The scrub attendants expect a 20–30 MAD tip
- Don't bring valuables—there are no lockers
