If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Elfna provides travel information about Marrakech, including a navigable offline map, a scam encyclopedia, a Darija phrasebook, fair-price guides, neighbourhood guides, merchant directories, affiliate links to bookable experiences and accommodation, and other related tools.

Some features are free. Some features (including the offline map unlock and Pro tier) require a one-off payment.

You may use most of the Service without creating an account. Some features (such as syncing a purchase across devices) require an account, which is provided through Clerk.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that takes place under your account.

Paid features are sold as one-off purchases unless otherwise stated. Prices are shown at checkout in the displayed currency and include any applicable taxes.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy, which you can read at /refund.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to: (a) attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access, (b) scrape, copy, resell or redistribute substantial parts of the content, (c) interfere with the Service, (d) use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm anyone.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

Information about scams, prices, merchants, neighbourhoods, emergency numbers and travel conditions is provided in good faith and updated regularly, but circumstances on the ground change quickly. We make no guarantee that any specific piece of information is current, accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.

You are responsible for your own safety, your own financial decisions, and for following local laws and customs. The Service is a guide, not a substitute for personal judgement, official advice, or professional services.

The Service contains affiliate links to third-party services (such as accommodation booking, experience platforms, and partner riads) and references to local merchants. We earn a commission on some bookings made through affiliate links, at no extra cost to you.

We do not control third-party services or merchants and are not responsible for their content, products, conduct, prices, availability, or any dispute between you and them.

All content on the Service (text, images, photography, illustrations, code, design, the "Elfna" name and logo) is owned by JEANNETTE LTD or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce or redistribute substantial parts of the content without our written permission.

If you submit reviews, reports, photos or any other content to us, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, adapt and display that content in connection with the Service.

You confirm that you own or have the rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) GBP 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with an updated effective date. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom or the EU, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
